FAQ & POLICIES

  • Where is Prism Arts Workshop?
We are at 999 Vallejo Street — roughly the northeast area of I-25 and 8th Avenue in Denver — in the Prism Workspaces Building that houses many wonderful artist studios. The neighborhood consists of many one-story industrial buildings and that includes us. Our classroom/studio (#5) faces Vallejo and is at the south end of the building. Look for a garage door and then a regular entry door at the south end, facing east and you will have found us. There is plenty of parking in our lot.
  • How will I know if my class is canceled?
Classes are typically canceled for one of two reasons: weather or low-enrollment. Weather updates will always be posted on the website and on our Instagram page. We follow the closures of Denver Public Schools, however a teacher is also allowed to make a weather-related cancellation call as well. Low-enrollment cancelation notifications will be sent out 24 hours prior to the start of your class. If we cancel a class, we will issue you a full refund or credit. You are always welcome to email your instructor for clarification. You can find their email in their profile (click on their photo in the 'instructors' tab). If the teacher must cancel the class due to an emergency, we will notify you and reschedule as early as possible.
  • I've enrolled in my class but I need to cancel.
We will miss you! Please let us know in writing at prismartsworkshop@gmail.com at least 14 days before the start of the class. If we receive written notice before the 14-day cutoff, we will issue you a full refund or credit. If cancellations are made between 7 and 13 days before the class starts, you will not be refunded your fees, but half (50%) will be credited towards a future class. If a cancellation is made less than 7 days out, no refunds or credits will be offered.
  • I am interested in teaching at Prism Arts Workshop! How do I learn more?

  • Help! I have questions!!
Yeah…this is new for us too! If you are confounded and just can't figure out our site or have questions and aren't seeing a clear path to answers, please email us. Please provide your cell number so we can call/text and please make sure to either use an email address that you frequently check or provide one that you frequently check. Our email is prismartsworkshop@gmail.com. Thank you!
  • I am ready to register!
Registration for classes can be completed on our right here on our website, but if you run into issues, please email us at prismartsworkshop@gmail.com. Payment in full is due at the time of registration. Class registration closes 24 hours before the class starts or when the maximum number of students is reached. All classes have a minimum number of students; they are subject to cancellation due to low enrollment. You will be notified via email if your class is cancelled for this reason.
  • What should I bring to my class?
Each instructor may have students bring supplies for their class. In most cases, these supplies are things for your personal use and/or easy to acquire. A basic item to have with you is likely going to be an apron or wear clothes that are okay for paint, clay, inks, etc. Your class-specific supply list, if applicable, will be available to you once you've registered for your class.
  • Can I book a custom class?
Absolutely! Whether you are thinking two hours or two days, we would love to build a custom class for you. Perfect for corporate team building, book club, friend group, family group, etc. Send us an email at prismartsworkshop@gmail.com and give us your thoughts on medium, teacher, days, dates, length — some rough details — and we will build something just for you!
